D.I.Y. 5 Minute Strawberry Frozen Yogurt:

There are so many amazing things about this yogurt recipe i don’t know where to begin! It only needs 3 ingredients, it takes under 5 mins to prepare, its super healthy and fat free and its SO DELICIOUS you can never have just one bowl! Not to mention, its made with strawberries- my favorite fruit of all time!

(Serves 4)

Ingredients:

  1. 25 large strawberries- washed and hulled
  2. 1/4th cup sugar (or any sugar substitute of your choice like honey, Stivia etc)
  3. 100 gm Greek yogurt
  4. OPTIONAL- a few drops of freshly squeezed lime for tang

Method:

  1. Throw all the ingredients into a blender and whisk till it turns into liquid form.

  2. Transfer this into an ice cream machine OR (if you don’t have one, like me) transfer into a container and freeze.

  3. Take it out after an hour and beat it with a fork to remove any crystallization. This helps the yogurt come out smooth and creamy. Repeat after an hour.

  4. Freeze for another 3 hours.

And that is it! How easy was this? And by eliminating sugar, you can make this into a healthy summer snack!

No Heat, No Product Wavy Hair:

I get very bored of my natural straight hair and I like to switch it up with waves and curls, but I hate using heat on my hair as I feel like I’m damaging it. Here is a simple heat-free way to get gorgeous beach-y waves, with zero damage!
1. Shampoo your hair at night and wait till it’s about 80% dry.
2. Tie your hair into a French braid, starting from the top of your head (it’s perfectly okay if your braid is messy!) and then go to sleep.
3. You wake up in the morning with amazing beach-y waves that last all day!

You can even do it in the day time, the waves just take 2-3 hours to form.

(Photos- Thank you Wikipedia for the first photo, the second photo is of my (normally straight) hair in these gorgeous waves!)

DIY Chevron Print Wayfarers

Things Required:

A pair of your plain old wayfareres, Nail polish and Masking tape/Scotch tape

Method:

  1. Cut your tape into small squares.
  2. Stick the triangle end of the tape in two rows, one on top and one at the bottom till they form a zig-zag pattern. Paint the whole thing with nail-polish. Don’t worry if its unevenly painted, the unevenness gives a pretty effect.
  3. Peel off the tape and let it dry a little.
  4. Cut tape into thin stripes and place it on the white triangles remaining such that they leave tiny triangles at the bottom.
  5. Peel of the tape and let it dry.
